Alice
I was in Siobhan’s exercise class for about 6 years. It was one of the things I did that kept me going – I am now 85, soon to be 86, but it kept me supple and as fit as one can be at my age. And for that I do thank you very much Siobhan….
Cardiac Rehabilitation is for people who have a heart condition – the following conditions can benefit from cardiac rehabilitation training;
Myocardial Infarction (heart attack)
Arrhythmias
Heart failure
Angina
Coronary artery bypass graph
Coronary angioplasty (Percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty)
Valve surgery or transplantation
Have a pacemaker
Have an implanted defibrillator (ICD)
Exercise rehabilitation is tailored to the clients needs.
Some clients may have completed Phase 3 & 4 Cardiac Rehabilitation and are looking to maintain what they have achieved with the help of a qualified cardiac rehabilitation instructor, Cardiac Pulmonary Training can help clients achieve this.
Clients who have not been to Cardiac Rehabilitation and wish to take part in exercise rehabilitation with Cardiac Pulmonary Training can still do so as long as they have been given clearance from their GP or Cardiologist.
For individuals who wish to take part in Cardiac Pulmonary Training – existing health conditions must be stable before commencing exercise rehabilitation.
A referral form will need to be completed either by your cardiac rehabilitation team where you completed cardiac rehabilitation, your GP or your Cardiologist.
I arrange for the referral form to be sent to your chosen healthcare professional.
Referral forms are sent securely by email, and are data protected.
